Delta Plan Congress on Nov. 2

We are facing major challenges in the Northern Netherlands: improving accessibility and increasing broad prosperity combined with appropriate spatial development, especially for living and working while maintaining identity and landscape. De Lelylijn, the Lower Saxony line and improvements to the existing railroad play a crucial role in this. The national and regional governments are jointly working on these challenges as part of a Delta Plan for the Northern Netherlands.

By the end of 2024, the studies on the Lelylijn, Lower Saxony Line and Existing Rail should be completed and we want to take follow-up steps.

The Delta Plan Congress will provide an update on the status of Lelylijn, Lower Saxony Line and existing rail. The program includes a discussion with the administrative leaders State Secretary Vivianne Heijnen and Commissioner of the King René Paas and a challenging lecture.

This congress is intended for council and state members, the executive boards and GS of municipalities and provinces in Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Overijssel and Flevoland, water boards and civil society organizations.
