Dagblad van het Noorden: ‘Good news from Brussels for Lelylijn’

Another step has been taken to win (later) European funding for the rail project.

De Lelylijn will appear, as far as the European Parliament is concerned, on the new European transport map “Ten-T,” became clear Thursday morning after a vote in the transport committee of the European Parliament (EP). It will become really clear at the end of the year after decisions in the European Council and Commission.

The Ten-T network is the trans-European transport network in the European Union. All major freeways, railroads, inland waterways and sea routes are hereby mapped, with the aim of connecting all regions in Europe, with as few obstacles as possible.
