What should Northern Netherlands look like in 2050?

Within research line NOVEX, the Development Perspective was prepared. This is a 2050 future picture of the area around Lelylijn and of the Northern Netherlands as a whole.

“The essence is that the cities in the Northern Netherlands can grow and the villages remain village-like,” says Durk Bergsma, program manager NOVEX). In this video, he and Wieger Savenije (Studio Bereikbaar) explain how the Development Perspective came about and what the research results are.
